This is a web page showing my research of our Mullaly family name.  I began in February of 1996 when my grandmother Mullaly spiked my curiosity. She was re-telling some family stories and remembered that our Mullaly's were from New York, specifically Ticonderoga.  I had just watched a series of television programs on the Discovery Channel regarding famous American battles and Fort Ticonderoga had a major role in the War of 1812. I followed the lead by calling information and having them connect me with the Town Hall & Clerk of Courts for Ticonderoga. I spoke with a very pleasant lady. She not only looked though the files for our ancestors, but gave me the telephone numbers for the Catholic Church and two local historians.  I was hooked and on my way.

I remember calling my family many times with bits and pieces of the unfinished puzzle of where we come from. Please understand that this is a family history work in progress and is by no means finished.  Any comments, corrections or contributions are openly accepted.

This site and my research is dedicated to my grandmother, Dorothy Margaret (Peliquin) Mullaly. She touched many lives and is missed by all who knew her.
