Cornelius/Neil P. Mullaly, born Sept. 1976 in Essex Co., NY. His parents were Patrick D. and Mary J. Mullaly. [doc 16] Cornelius was named after his maternal grandfather, Cornelius McCauley.

A picture of Cornelius P. is held by the family from the early 1900's. [pic 5] Cornelius worked on the railroad between New York
and North Dakota. "C. P. Mullaley" was killed in a train accident on 7 Oct. 1913 at age 35, in Central Falls, Rhode Island.
He was crossing the tracks. paying no head to the guardman's warnings, and was struck my a fast moving train. His funeral service was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ticonderoga, Essex Co., NY., and he was interned in Shoreham, Addison Co., Vermont. [doc 16]
An article on Cornelius/Neil's death was found in the Ticonderoga Sentinel on October 16, 1913 [doc 17], and an entry about his death in the St. Mary's Catholic Church register. [doc 18]
Cornelius/Neil Mullaly (4.2) never married and had no children.
