Katherine Mullaly
Third Generation - Second daughter of Patrick

Katherine ("Kate") Mullaly, born June 1884 in Vermont, her parents were Patrick D. and Mary J. Mullaly.  She was first mentioned at age 15, as born in June 1884 in VT on the 1900 Federal Soundex Census for NY. Cornelius P. was listed as the head of the household. [doc 9]

There are two pictures of Katherine held by the family.  One with her two sisters (she is on the left) [pic 6]  and the other one is alone. [pic 8]

She lived in Schenectady, NY in 1913 when her brother Cornelius died. [doc 17]

Dorothy Mullaly states that Kate married Mr. Jose Perez (after 1913) and moved to CA.  She may have married on CA.  She had at least two children there.

"We met Aunt Kate (Mullaly) Perez and two children on a 1951 trip to the west. Neil and Dorothy and Mary Louise and Joseph visited with Paul, 14, (born 1937) and Virginia, 15, (born1936) and Katherine at their house in the Los Angeles area.
Kate was born in 1884 and [at this time] was age 67. Not her children? Mom did not recall any other communications with Kate." Written by Joe Mullaly, 3/21/01
